Yeah, this is harder than it looks...

My Ed Tech teacher, Jane, had us try this one day in class as a little warm up. We all saw the kids and thought it would be easy... yeah, think again!
Have fun!!
And just remember... if you can't do it, a 7 year old can so try again!!

Street Corner Symphony - Everybody Wants to Rule the World

I might be a little obsessed... Just a little.
Watch this. I dare you.
You'll have the song stuck in your head for days too.
You can thank me later!!

Oh yeah, I have a blog....

For reals, it's been forever since I posted anything. I'm not really all that sorry about it because no one reads this thing, but I do have some pics and stuff to post for anyone that thinks I was dead or moved in with a drug dealer. I am alive and well and done with another semester of never ending school. Yay!

Easter was great fun and good times with family as always. We know how to do holidays right... food, babies, food, bubbles, stories, and more food.

This little girl may just be the cutest thing ever right now. She loves those sunglasses.

This one is 5 1/2 going on 16. She may be cute, but don't let that fool you. She's a fiery one.

This is my favorite picture from Easter EVER!! This little one really wanted her jelly bean back from Grandma... so she just reached in and took it. Priceless.

L and I met some friends up at Montezuma Well and "cleaned up" a bit. Pick axes and shovels in a ditch is an awesome way to spend two days. We did get to go camping where people don't normally get to be, so that was a huge plus.

VoAZ is a great organization that helps clean up AZ and shows you how weak you are by comparing you to a 74 year old man (Joe, pictured above) who is picking and shoveling circles around you at every turn. We had the opportunity to make a historical monument beautiful and functional again, get out of the Valley, and spend some time in nature. All in a weekends work!

Oh, and in case you were wondering... travertine build up kills babies.

Baby hand reaching out of the travertine... Dang you blasted travertine!!

Can I just tell you....

The gospel is true. We have a living prophet on the earth today. Our Heavenly Father loves us. Jesus Christ is the center of it all. What an amazing weekend. I'm so grateful for that knowledge.

Oh look, crafts!

Okay, so I've got quite a few projects in the works right now and a few that I've actually finished (surprise, surprise). The first on is some baby stuff that I made for two different guys I know both having little boys. I hope Otis and Max like them! We've got a tag blanket, some burpies, and a bib.

Owls are totally gonna be all the rage for boys this season... mark my words. They are so cute! I love it. Julie and Rick, please make it be a boy and I'll make you some owl stuff too.

Then, I was doing some blog watching and found out (kinda) how to makes these...

They weren't that hard and they're pretty cute on a shirt. I have to wear black and khaki to work these days and I don't always follow rules real well, so I had to find something to brighten up the boring. I showed Brooklyn and she ordered a little purple one and I'll have to make a little pink one for Taylor too. And Kristi you'll have your yellow one, no worries about that.

I've got some friends and family getting hitched in Sept and Oct so I'll have to put up what I've got in the works for them a bit later. I've also got some girls friends having girls and maybe some boys so there will be more baby stuff too... if I get it all done that is.
Don't have a crafting breakdown.
Oh, please, don't have a crafting breakdown.
Don't have a crafting breakdown....
Breathe.....

So, it's been kind of a long time...

Dear blog,

I'm sorry I've been avoiding you. I promise it wasn't always on purpose, but I'm ready for you again... I think. I was looking back and we've had some good times and I think we could have a few more up our sleeves. What do ya say?

Think it over. I'll be here.

Love, Holly
