3 things I'm thankful for today:
* sweet students that comfort each other when someone is sad or has hurt feelings
* students that tell me everyday that they are glad I'm their teacher
* hot chocolate on a cold morning
2 things that happened today:
* I got to sign a boy's cast (he fell out of a tree)
* I was teased by some kids in the lunchroom today because I haven't seen the Kroods, Frozen, or the new Percy Jackson movie.

* the smiling faces of almost all my first graders back to school today
* My report cards being done and ready to go home a day early
* hugs from my kids
2 things that happened today:
* I made it through the entire day back to school
* I had my Dr. Pepper partially explode in my lap in my car... but I was on my way home so it was all good

I'm not sure what happened, but this is attempt #2 on this post. Blogger is holding the first one hostage on my phone. It says it's "saving" it for me, but I don't think I'll get to see it again.

* the testimonies of the sweet young women I get to teach
* the hugs and hellos from those young women
* sleeping in on Sunday
2 things that happened today:
* church moved from 8am to 11:30
* I laid in the couch and did NOTHING!!

* dinner with Amanda and catching up at Pita Jungle
* spending time with Julie and getting things figured out to see if owning a home is a doable thing for me

3 things I'm thankful for:
* 9 year old nieces that think I'm pretty cool... and not just because I took her to Michaels and the dollar store
* hearing a friend's surgery went well and knowing prayers were answered
* that small moment when you now things are going to be fine, no matter how they work out in the long run
2 things that happened today:
* I went to Peter Pipper Pizza today and had fun watching the girls play games, win tickets, and then trade said tickets in for a bunch of... um, awesome stuff! Slinkies, gummy pizza, parachute guys, and tootie rolls.
* I used my new Costco membership for more than just pizza! I actually walked all around the place, checked it out, and bought some stuff. Everyone needs a pound of sugar snap peas, right?

* Hearing a 5 year old laugh and laugh for no reason at all
* Getting to Costco just in time to hold the cutest baby in the cul-de-sac
* Sharing a table with the sweetest 90 year old blind man for lunch
2 things that happened today:
* I got a lot of work done at school so I can spend some time with my nieces tomorrow.
* I spent way too much time and money in the dollar store.
